1.  About Us

BEESWAXBAYFARM LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16451492). Our registered office is at 28 Tudor Crescent, Atherstone, England, CV9 3DA. We sell handmade and hand-crafted goods including beeswax candles, soy candles, handmade gifts, woodcraft and home decor, quails, and fertile hatching eggs through our website at beeswaxbayfarm.co.uk.

The majority of our products are made by us at our smallholding in Atherstone, Warwickshire. Some items require a preparation or production period before they are ready to dispatch.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2.  Our Contract With You

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods from us. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch or fulfilment confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion. If we cancel, any payment taken will be refunded in full.

3.  Prices & Payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. Accepted methods are listed at beeswaxbayfarm.co.uk/payments.

4.  Production, Fulfilment & Dispatch

Almost all of our products are handmade or hand-crafted by us. Many require a production period before dispatch.

Standard in-stock items:  3 to 5 working days from cleared payment.

Custom or special requests:  Variable — confirmed at time of order.

Natural products (hatching eggs):  Within 24 hours of goods being ready to ship. Natural processes apply — we will keep you updated.

Partner-fulfilled products:  On rare occasions a small number of products may be fulfilled by a trusted partner. Your contract remains with BEESWAXBAYFARM LTD.


Orders travel via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked or equivalent. Hatching eggs via Royal Mail 24-hour. We supply UK mainland only.

5.  Delivery, Lost Parcels & Incorrect Addresses

Once dispatched, delivery timescales are managed by the carrier and outside our control.

If your parcel appears lost or has not arrived, please contact us before raising a claim with the carrier. We will investigate on your behalf in line with the carrier's procedures. Contacting us first protects your position.

It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address entered at checkout is complete and accurate.

Address query before dispatch: If we identify a potential issue with your address, we may contact you to verify details before dispatching. This may delay your order. We are not liable for delays arising from address verification.

Incorrect address passing carrier validation: Some addresses containing errors may still pass the carrier's automated database without being flagged. In these cases we will dispatch to the address provided in good faith. If the parcel is subsequently undelivered or lost due to an address error made by you, we are not liable. No refund or replacement will be issued in these circumstances.

Parcel returned due to incorrect address: We will contact you to arrange redelivery at your cost. If you do not wish to proceed, we will refund the cost of goods only, minus the original delivery charge and any return shipping costs incurred.


Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, our delivery obligation is fulfilled upon dispatch to the address you have provided. Where an incorrect address is entered by you, this constitutes inaccurate information provided as part of the contract, and we are not liable for resulting non-delivery.

6.  Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods. Contact us in writing at beeswaxbayfarm.co.uk/contact-us. Return goods unused in original condition within a further 14 days. Refunds processed within 14 days of receipt.

The 14-day right to cancel does not apply to:

Food gift sets (honey, chocolate, coffee, tea): Perishable goods are exempt. Applies to any order where a food item forms part of the product or set.

Mixed sets: Where perishable and non-perishable items are combined inseparably.

Personalised items: Where a bespoke message or custom element has been added to your specification.

Hatching eggs: Perishable — non-returnable once dispatched.

Live quail: Non-returnable once collected.

Used or unsealed goods.


7.  Returns & Refunds

Eligible returns must be unused, in original condition, and agreed with us in advance. Refunds processed within 14 days. Non-returnable items are listed in Section 6. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

8.  Damaged or Faulty Goods

Transit damage: Report within 48 hours with photographs. Prompt reporting allows us to pursue a carrier claim.

Product faults: Report within 14 days. You have a 30-day statutory right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


We will arrange a replacement, full refund, or other solution as agreed, including return postage where the fault is ours. Contact us at beeswaxbayfarm.co.uk/contact-us with your order number and photographs.

Natural variation in colour, texture, finish, and scent is inherent to handmade and natural goods and does not constitute a fault.

9.  Hatching Eggs

Fertile hatching eggs are perishable and non-returnable once dispatched. Hatch rates depend on transit, incubation conditions, and handling and cannot be guaranteed. Rest eggs 24 hours on arrival before incubating.

10.  Live Quail

Collection only from Atherstone, Warwickshire. Non-returnable once collected. Please ensure housing is in place before collection. Buyers are responsible for compliance with applicable animal welfare legislation.

11.  Product Descriptions & Images

Colours may differ slightly on screen due to device settings. Natural materials vary between batches. These are characteristics of handmade goods, not defects. For custom orders, changes cannot be made once production has started.

12.  Acceptable Use & Abusive Behaviour

We define unacceptable behaviour as including, but not limited to:

  • The use of offensive, threatening, or obscene language, whether written or verbal
  • False or malicious accusations of fraud, dishonesty, or other criminal conduct
  • Harassment or repeated unwanted contact intended to intimidate or cause distress
  • Any communication designed to threaten, coerce, or cause alarm


We reserve the right to cancel outstanding orders (with refund where goods are not yet dispatched), refuse future service, and report conduct to the relevant authorities where it constitutes a criminal offence. We will not use this clause to avoid obligations to customers with genuine complaints.

13.  Marketing Communications

We may contact existing customers about similar products under the PECR soft opt-in. We will always provide a simple opt-out. You can unsubscribe at any time.

14.  Intellectual Property

All content on beeswaxbayfarm.co.uk is the property of BEESWAXBAYFARM LTD and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

15.  Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of your order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses except where excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

16.  Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

17.  Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version current at the time of your order applies.
